Truck Driving Aptitude Test


  • Background and purpose: Truckers went on strike in 2003, triggering the introduction of truckers’ qualification system as of July 21, 2004 in an effort to facilitate safe driving and improve the capacity of the drivers. The system also aims to contribute to improvements of the delivery service and on-road safety by fostering the professional capabilities of truckers while promoting the sound growth of the entire transport industry.

    Category Details
    License type Suitable to drive a freight truck
    Age Older than 20
    Driving history +2 years (+1 year experience with a commercial vehicle)

    Applicant shall meet the new requirements of the driving aptitude test

    Applicant shall not have any grounds for disqualification as per Article 9 of the Trucking Transport Business Act
